The pivotal moments from adolescence to adulthood can happen in the blink of an eye. A student’s senior year in high school is marked by a series of decision points that can have a major impact on their future opportunities. What if every student had their own adult Champion to encourage them along the way?
Dallas County Promise is launching an initiative that will connect high school seniors with advocates to help them navigate the critical benchmarks to post-graduation. In collaboration with Big Thought, Dallas ISD, The United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and youth-serving organizations across Dallas County, the Promise Champions Initiative will help ensure that all young people are able to access free college tuition and/or career pathways offered through the Dallas County Promise.
